Beach in April - Day 1

Day 1 - Corolla, North Carolina.

My sister and brother-in-law, Sammie and Josh, came and picked me up about 1 AM. We drove about 6 and a half hours to get here at the beach. Our family rented a huge beach house. I'm staying here until Sunday. So happy to be at the beach! It's been rainy and cloudy all day but hey, it's the beach! 

So far today, we have seen a HUGE whale, and about 5 waterspouts! I am the kind of person that is DEATHLY afraid of tornadoes, but waterspouts are pretty cool! I guess the only reason I like them, is because I  know they don't touch shore. Well, it's only about 2 PM right now, but it's rainy so we won't be doing much of  anything today. May hop in the hot tub later, and we are going out to dinner tonight. It's only Day 1, and I'm already having fun!
